SMHA Annual Achievement Awards
The Schomberg Minor Hockey Association Awards are given out at the annual Awards Banquet held in April. This is a special, end of the season event, which recognizes all teams and highlights the hockey year they have shared together. The Achievement Awards give SMHA the opportunity to recognize those players who have made an individual impact within our hockey community. Each year, these awards are presented for outstanding achievements in all areas of the game. They showcase exceptional dedication, personal improvement, participating with heart and sportsmanship throughout the entire hockey season.
The recipients of these various awards have made a notable and outstanding contribution to minor hockey in Schomberg. They show their pride and commitment to the game and strive to “do their best” each time they step onto the ice. These motivated young players have gained the attention from members of our hockey Association. All award nominees are chosen by the Coaching Staff of their respective teams. Final Overall Association Awards are voted upon by the SMHA Executive Board for that season.
