O.M.H.A. rules will apply.

OMHA Approved Team rosters are required. There will be no additional players allowed for the tournament.  At least 3 game sheets from this season are to be brought to the tournament in case there is any question of legitimacy of players. 

A carded coach and trainer must be present on the bench for each game.

Applications are considered “received” when all paperwork and registration fees are received by the tournament director. 

Red & White Tournament Registration Rules

Please read and follow instructions for entering a team in SMHA’s Red & White Tournament.

These rules apply to both Rep tournaments and the local/house league tournaments

.

1.        This form must be signed by a team representative and returned to the Tournament Director along with other required forms to indicate your understanding of the rules of the Red and White tournament and the SMHA.

2.        The Tournament Director will determine the teams that are accepted into the tournament, providing they have submitted all the required information and payment in full.

3.        All teams must provide the Tournament Director with the following documentation:

·         Completed “Team Application Form” found on the web site

·         Completed “Red & White Tournament Registration Rules” signed by a team representative.

·         Payment in full with cheques payable to Schomberg Minor Hockey Association.

·         An approved Travel Permit for non-OMHA teams (i.e. Alliance, GTHL) or a ‘Letter of Permission’ from your local hockey association for OMHA house league teams.

·         A copy of your ‘Player Registration Sheet’ that you have received from your governing body (OMHA, GTHL).

4.        Teams may register for the tournament prior to receiving the documentation from their governing body (i.e. OMHA) but confirmation will be held until all documentation is received.

5.        All teams must have a carded coach and trainer assigned to their team and must have a carded coach and trainer on their bench at all times during the tournament.

6.        The Tournament Director reserves the right to request additional information from teams applying to enter the tournament to determine team acceptance.  The Director reserves the right to refuse a team entry into the tournament if it is determined that they are not competitive with the majority of teams entered in the tournament.

I have read and agree to abide by the “Red & White Tournament Registration Rules” and the corresponding “Tournament Rules and Regulations”.  I agree to abide by the decisions of the Tournament Director/Committee with regards to the operation of this tournament
